System architecture workspace
See how your system connects.
Create a conceptual DC wiring diagram, select a load to edit its circuit, and generate a preliminary cable and materials schedule. The diagram is not a certified electrical schematic.
Conceptual DC wiring layout
Select a load node to edit it. Red = positive, blue = negative return. Protection symbols are placeholders, not fuse specifications.
PositiveNegativeProtection selection required
Select a load to review its circuit.
Main shunt belongs in the battery negative path with all charging sources and loads on the system side. Parallel batteries need balanced path resistance. Actual protection locations, switching, chassis bonding and source wiring must be engineered.

Engineering review and materials
Before installation, verify conductor ampacity and installation derating; prospective battery short-circuit current and fuse DC interrupt capacity; fuse current/voltage/type and conductor protection; busbar and isolator ratings; shunt positioning; ferrule/lug terminal compatibility, tooling and torque; heat shrink and mechanical protection; manufacturer instructions and applicable Australian standards.
Materials placeholders: copper red/black cable, DC fuse holders, appropriately specified lugs/ferrules, adhesive-lined heat shrink where appropriate, cable labels, loom/conduit, grommets, cable cutters, insulation strippers, compatible crimp dies, torque tools and multimeter. Connector quantities and exact fuse ratings are intentionally not inferred.
This prototype does not size battery interconnects, inverter circuits, solar wiring or charging sources. It is a DC load-circuit planning workspace only.
